Through 24/7 monitoring of the network connectivity feeding the park, using advanced technology to detect and repair problems, situations that may potentially interrupt service are generally resolved before Tenants are even aware of a problem.

The Gunston Commerce Center has the advantage of having a Verizon Hub located on Furnace Road centrally located within the park. The hub is called the Furnace Road remote and is served by redundant fiber links from multiple Verizon central offices.

All of the land bays within the park will have access to the redundant Smart Park facility offerings and advantages. In addition, for identified mission critical users, we offer diverse conduit routing allowing tenants to take advantage of ordering the Verizon self-healing SONET (synchronous optical network) fiber ring. The diverse routing of the conduit will allow a tenant to order a Verizon self-healing redundant fiber ring, connecting to two separate Verizon central office locations through two separate conduit routes to the Land Bay itself.

The Gunston Park has the ability to provide Transparent Local Area Network (LAN) connectivity to remote locations in the Springfield Central Office serving area. This feature would provide LAN connectivity from any building at the Gunston site to a remote office with the remote connectivity transparent to the customer.
